What the class covers
This private, foundational class focuses on classic lash application, proper technique, and sanitation practices taught one-on-one. Instruction combines demonstration with guided practice so students learn placement, adhesive handling, and client safety. The trainer covers setup and workspace hygiene to help students build reproducible habits for classic eyelash extension work.
Each student receives a starter kit that contains the essential supplies named by the studio: tweezers, eye pads, glue, multi-length lashes, a mannequin for practice, brushes, sticky pads, lash shampoo, a mister, and a mini fan. The kit is intended to support continued practice after class and familiarizes students with professional tools.
How a session runs
Sessions are held on Sundays only and must be booked at least one week in advance. Because the training is one-on-one, scheduling is limited and personalized; please reserve early to secure preferred Sunday dates. The private format lets the instructor tailor pacing and feedback to your learning speed and local scheduling needs.

Local considerations and seasonality
Interest peaks in January, February, and September, driven by New Year's resolutions and autumn career resets. Those months often bring more bookings from people pursuing beauty careers or skill upgrades. Plan ahead if you target those windows; Sunday-only scheduling and one-week advance booking mean spots fill quickly during peak demand.
Grand Rapids' four distinct seasons influence when students enroll: winter indoor self-care months, spring and summer event preparations, and fall professional shifts. Local lifestyle factors — proximity to Riverside Park, neighborhood shops, and dining — mean trainees often combine class days with errands or local appointments, making a Sunday schedule practical for many.
